يوم الخميس عندما وطئت قدمي اليمنى أرض الوطن بعد نزولي من سلم الطائرة
احسست بشعور غريب يختلج قلبي يعصر تفكيري
فرح شيديد حد البكاء
لا أنكر أن دمعة ما نزلت أو قررت النزول لولا أن منعتها قدرة الله من ذلك
يقولون أن البكاء عيب الرجول
وأقول أنا : تباً للرجولة لو كانت تعيب البكاء
وأنا أكتب الآن أشعر بدفء عميق
أصوات العائلة تملء المنزل
وأنا أنصت ...
